How to Disable Background Apps feature on Windows 10

On Microsoft Windows 10, you can easily disable the background apps feature to stop all apps from running in the background, or you can pick & stop one or multiple apps from running in the background. Here's how to do this:

1. Open Windows 10 Startup Menu by clicking on the Windows icon or button from the keyboard

2. Click on the Settings icon to open Settings on Windows 10

3. Once Settings is opened, scroll down and click on Privacy

4. Scroll down from the left sidebar and click on Background apps

5. From here, you can stop all the background apps from running by disabling the "Let apps run in the background" option, or choose apps to stop it, as it is shown in the image.

6. Additionally, if you're a laptop user you can simply turn battery saver mode on to stop all the background apps from running. However, it also slows down your system performance.
To do so, click on the battery icon from your desktop and move the cursor to all the left.
